Paul Whittaker came 3rd in his category for the TransWales mountain bike event (that's Paul on the right in the first 'photo).
- 290 miles and 9900m of climbing over 7 days on a mixture of untimed linking rides and 5 special stages throughout the week.
- These included an off-road uphill time trail, a downhill TT and a night stage around Cwm Rhaiadr trail centre.
- PauI also podiumed on two of the special stages, 3rd and 2nd, and worked his way up to be in 4th place with 30 seconds to make up on 3rd with one time trail left to go.
- Ended up taking 3rd place by a less than massive 4 seconds!
