The children’s charity MedEquip4kids is once organising the successful Lancashire Loop which shall be held on Sunday 28 September where cyclists can choose a 45 mile or a 100 mile route and this year, we have a third option of a 25 mile route. This is a flatter course which is more suitable for families with young children wishing to take part and cycle together.

Now in its fourth year the Lancashire Loop raised more than £15,000 for MedEquip4kids in 2007 as up to 200 riders enjoyed cycling through spectacular countryside, picturesque villages and quiet country lanes. The circular bike ride sets off and ends in Cokerham, near Lancaster, and can be a challenge – but cyclists will be rewarded with the breathtaking scenery and long downhill sections. 

To take part in this event the registration fee is £12 for individuals with a minimum sponsorship of £35 and for a family of 4, the registration fee is £25 with a minimum sponsorship of £70.
